if they would just put it at the front of the property, the streets department would actually pick up on trash day! not that i am advocating more dumping, but, for whatever reason, the streets department does not pick up trash located at the side of the property.

Is this still a problem? I'm interested in a unit that is newly renovated in this building. When I sited the property, I did notice the open area behind the fence. But there was no trash on the corner/street.

curious, i haven't seen issues with 1501 Montrose in quite some time. I presume that the owners renovated the property and, in the process, cleaned up the trash behind and surrounding the property. It is the city, after all, so there is always litter to contend with, but in my opinion, 1501 has cleaned up its act.
