So this tree is going to fall and take down power lines. Has the city contacted the property owner or Duke Energy? I'm confused here because they have issued abatements to other properties in out neighborhood with leaning trees. The tree continues to lean more everyday. Not only is it going to take down the power lines, but also smash into the house across the street it is that big.

So why the difference in replies? A similar issue 1 block over with a leaning cedar tree that is much smaller and not a hazard to power lines gets a letter to the property owner.
