Not only is it inconvenient, but pedestrians often give up and cross without the signal.

Thank you for confirming that the signal is performing per specifications.
My request is that the timing of the light be changed. There is too much of a delay between when the pedestrian pushes the button and the "WALK" sign appears.
If this isn't the right forum for such a request, please let me know how to proceed.

I'll keep this issue closed since it seems to be the wrong forum.
My point is that although the signal is working correctly, I think it's programmed such that the wait time is too long.
