Cars cut through on Share from Harper to avoid the intersection at 13 - Harper especially students taking the short cut to the High School (Lake Shore) they also cut through from 13 mile to get to Harper - also avoiding the 13 - Haper intersection - heavy - heavy traffic area - 3/4 of the cars go on the average of 30-40 mph until they hit the curve - WE NEED A STOP SIGN to slow cars down - students drive much too fast on this road.

You would have to contact the City of St. Clair Shores for this. Be aware that stop signs are not meant to control speeding and research has shown that they do not decrease speeds. The best prevention is to request additional police presence in the area. However, many times we find that when additional police presence is requested, it is the residents that are ticketed for speeding.

Good point - thanks for the follow up - I guess my thought process was - cars would have to slow down and stop for a stop sign - it would slow down many of the vehicles that zip down the street. Also, I think people zip through because they know they won't have to stop ..... I can't prove it because I don't have a speed monitor - but I am pretty sure the 30 - 40 mph is a little "lite" - I would also guess we get at least a hundred (probably more) cars each day - - - majority of the cars are not residents.

I grew up on burton just off of share,why don't you get a peition& have everyone that lives on share to sign it!! have the city or county put in speed bumps.just a thought!!

The city allows a Warren based commercial Cube van to parked on Share at 13 mile 24/7 that should slow cars down just trying to see around it
