Dominion Virginia Power has resolved this issue.

as of this morning the top has not been replaced on the light(man in Dominion truck did pick up the top which had fallen off). As of last night the light did not work and the the sign placed on the light by Dominion on 11/1 says the problem is an underground cable. Note - the top falling off and the non-working light were submitted as two requests since the top fell off well after the light was reported as not working.

Thank you. We have received your updated response for the street light outage and after further investigation there is a pending work order for Dominion Energy to repair the underground cable and damaged street light.

There has still been no progress on this repair.

Thank you for reporting your concerns. The extent of damage on the underground cable determines how long it will take Dominion energy to repair it. Sometimes special equipment and/ or permits may be required. I will contact Dominion to get a status update on this issue.
