This is a very dangerous street due to drivers excessively speeding and tailgating. I think the police need to do more radar on this stretch of road. And need to step up traffic stops. I was driving down here today and saw cars driving as if they where on a highway weaving in and out of lanes and passing cars out.

Agree - this is an issue of grave concern. There have been several fatalities just recently on this stretch of road.
Since there are currently no reliable data by type of enforcement (red light, license, registration etc) or by neighborhood, the progress of our government on addressing this issue, if any has been made, is impossible to measure.
Additionally, Lieutenants have told me that the police department still does not have access to radar equipment and that the number of motorcycle cops with such equipment is declining this year.
