DC contractors removed and replaced sidewalks and curbs last year on 5500 block of 39th Street NW (btwn Morrison and McKinley), but never returned to replace "safety fill" with top soil and sod. Consequently, silt and sand run of into the sewers everything time it rains. Neighbors have contacted Mayor's and Council Member's reps, but no action for almost a year!
