I call public works and explained the problem on the 9/23 and have not received a call back as of 10/2. The canal is still not down to what I feel adequate, still looking about ½ way. I decided to go look at the outflow pipe (WHAT A ****** MESS) The is a gaping hole that has eroded above the pipe. The catch fence is clogged and the only way water is leaving the area is an area washed out around the catch fence. The entrance you can tell is partialy clogged and probable full of sediment from all the wash out debri. It appears we may be getting possible hurricane effects later this week. I started calling on this since last year at this time. We need some assistance in getting this cleared as soon as possible. Pictures are attached.

I did view the area 10/9 after the storm and water receded to the point I could look but still completely full (5PM 10/9). Yes we had twice as much water in a shorter period of time and it went down just as fast as the last storm before so that was a vast improvement. THANK YOU!!!!
I viewed auburn drive outflow and pipe was almost full where as before maybe a little better than 1/2 full same amount of water in drainage canal again. THANK YOU!!!
However, the rip rap on the far side was not completed and what to do about the catch fence and future clogging. It appeared they actually ripped out the previous entrance back about 5 feet. Will check again to see better when all the water has gotten down to the lowest point which I hope is close to empty. A better more permanent debris catcher that can be cleaned? I very happy with the progress to date!!!!
