to have this much traffic from large trucks and cars. 18 wheelers lrg trash trucks. They have not been upgraded for at least 30 yrs.or more. Trash and ditches remain a problem.

That is the problem "Foley!"
PLEASE START WORK ON THESE ROADS! A nice area is becoming ugly and going to cause vehicle repairs if it hasn't already.
PLEASE SEE MY ISSUE AND VOTE, "alvina" and friends: "MIA (Missing in Action) BROAD RIVER ROAD BRIDGE!." There are off - shoots of the same under other titles, such as "Speeding." I have our bridge travesty listed different ways. PLEASE VOTE ON THEM ALL!
Thank you!

Trash is still a problem from the apartments. The trash trucks don't always hit the top of the truck and it ends up blowing off into the road.
And what do you mean by That's the problem "Foley"? At least something got done, it's a start!! They also come down at least once a month to cutt the side of the road. I'm not saying this is all that needs to be done but it is a start. Someone did read my issue.

What I meant about "that's the problem, Foley," is too many trucks that are 18 wheeler trash trucks that were probably not designed to be on thoseless wider roads but had to take on more trash as the sub-divisions grew over time having to haul more garbage more times than in the beginning. Then you have the condos. What would have happened had that new sub - division had ever gotten completed with new families there to add to it? How many people take that road to go to the new Zoo exit over the past 4 yhears or so?
These "pop out" fixed pot holes, after repaired, when heat is applied to roads from vehicles traveling through and a cooler weather spell with rain and flooding in that area takes all you residents back to where you were. I know the area well and have friends on Saluda River Trail. They have had over the years water come into their basement from down over Saluda Trail. They need to fix it properly ONE time only not come out to do patch up job work and clean up some drains only to have residents face the problem over and over again wasting tax dollars each time. It adds up for every patch up job not fixed totally the first time.
Again, Foley, I am going to vote for your issue.
I hope you find mine in several places and those from Skyland Estates and on the other side our Huffman Heights in all we have been going through for 4+ years from Stimulus money #1 not #2! One has the title of "Speeding". Mine should connect with that on the side of theat page. Pleasew take the time to read thewm and vote. I have 146 views of ours here yet no answers We need as many votes as we need views!
This Broad River Bridge has caused a death, traffic problems, closed down our park part of your West Columbia trail that ours never floods, and ruined more than they have given back. Their many month detour sent thousands of cars and various size trucks through our roads daily that couldn't handle the pressure from their weight and constantly making us a highway besides the ones on Broad River Road we have had for years. These roads, like yours, have been here for many years untouched and not meant for such traffic.
Thank you for those who really care!
