Ridiculous is spelled with an i after the r. And no the section which is specifically referenced is far from rural. There are a rapid succession of both roads and private drives in a close proximity. The population density in that specific area is also not rural with vast swaths with no homes. There is also nothing about the engineering which is of specific note or unusual from most main roads in the area. Further just because it is capable of supporting 55, does not in anyway mean it by default should be 55 in every area. As is obvious anywhere in this country with similar roads and speeds. Almost without fail the speed is reduced in higher density population and risk areas. As it is in fact on that very road in certain areas. A large percentage of people flat out speed and do not pay attention to cars slowing and turning. Not to mention cars pulling into small roads and private drive pull in at about 10 miles an hour or less and people do not prepare for that large of a speed drop and frequently swerve into the oncoming lane or slam on brakes. There is no reason for the speed to be 55 from Brook/locust grove to roughly Middle Grove. People in particular coming from the Greenfield direction into Saratoga speed and pay no attention.

Then it's Ridiculous.

People are crazy on this stretch. Our daughter lives on Lanie Drive. We had people nearly hit us half a dozen times or get very aggressive driving. Screaming and honking when all you are trying to do is turn onto Lanie. We have seen and heard it happen to other people who live near too. It's bizarre how aggressive people get. like the road is theirs and you have some nerve to turn when they are speeding. and yes I have always used my turn signal with plenty of warning. This road is too fast through here. People are too aggressive these days with the curves in the road and roads and driveways close together in this area. I hope they do something before someone gets killed in an accident or road rage. People act like it is the northway and you have no business turning into residential streets and driveways. That is almost all there is here PEOPLES HOMES. This is not an interstate!

I don't think the speed needs decreased past the rail overpass, or maybe Middle Grove. People are total jerks a lot though up to middle grove. so many cars turn there. we are in the royal rhino and have dangerous swerving and people getting aggressive all the time and so have our neighbors. people screaming and layin on there horns riding your butt as you try to turn in or get out including some crazy jerk who literally tried to run us off the road because we had the nerve to not be going 55 within two seconds of gettin on 9n. it is stupid to have the limit so fast in there.
