Adaptive Signal system helpful for car traffic but not safe for Cyclists.

F. What is the issue?
A. Bikers expect a walk signal when cars have a green light. As a Biking Ambassador and as a cyclist and driver, I often see vacationing families on bikes assuming that when parallel car traffic has a green, they should also. So they may wait but ignore the crossing stop signal and proceed. The thermal imaging takes too long and cyclists ignore the signal because it violates what they have done for years. Also the countdown is confusing because it often goes from a stop signal to a countdown and to another stop signal.
