Jds…do you by chance know the link for city parking? I have not been successful in locating it. I noticed the passenger side window is now half way down and it appears someone has rummaged through the interior of the truck. The gentleman who owns the truck was living at 401 Oberlin. Ran into him several times when he walked his dog along Stafford. Have not seen him in months. I reached out to the office for 401 Oberlin and no one replied. I tried twice.

I emailed them and they sent me to Raleigh non emergency. They also said that SCF would contact if they got a notification 🤔. I called this morning and reported it. They said they would be out to tag it.

I do wonder where the owner is also. The trick is always around but usually moves every week or so out of the “two hour” 😉 parking.

Thank you for your help. I think the individual may have moved from the area. It is hard enough finding parking when Tupelo Honey patrons are in full force. lol

Owner of vehicle was repairing tire earlier. Hopefully will have removed later today.

This vehicle is no longer parked at this location. Verified by RPD on 01/09/2024.

Driver moved the truck across the street. RPD officer passed right by it. It's been parked in the 2 hour zone since Monday 1/9/24. Next to parking garage entrance. FFV-3155 with 2022 expired tag.

Yes. It has been moved up the block on same side of Stafford. It has been in the same spot since Sunday night. The owner does live in 401 Obetlin. Owner does not adhere to parking restrictions and regulations. Police drive by and do nothing

I called RPD non emergency and the response was quite arrogant. She shared we know about this vehicle and are taking action and hung up. A neighbor shared she contacted parking and they said to her they and RPD patrol regularly Stafford Avenue and know about this truck. Obviously that’s not so truthful. It’s been parked in a limited parking/ 2 hour for almost an entire week and it’s well over a foot off the curb. Looks like they got new tires, so a flat and the city of Raleigh taking action is the least of his concerns.

Ticketed and booted as of last night.

Good news. Hope the vehicle is removed soon. Saw a car turning right out garage almost TBone car traveling on Stafford.

There is no enforcement on this street. CIty of Raleigh promises enforcement. Same construction vehicles park daily in 2 hour zone from as early as 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. I see the City of Raleigh parking enforcement just drive right on by. Same with RPD. I recognize SWD is busy but come on. I literally flagged down an officer last summer for a Tupelo Honey Cafe patron parked on the sidewalk, and he was upset it was raining. He did cite the car on the sidewalk but was upset about the rain. They only seem to do want to do nothing like the SWD officer who "verified" the truck was gone but when it was just moved across the street.
