The length of time that this light is Red for East bound Maple is excessive. It should be placed on a timing device and be a Blinking light (for Eastbound Maple traffic) for the hours before 7 or 8 Am and after 7 pm. and on the weekends, as there is no traffic using the turnaround.

The light at this Maple Road center median turn around halts eastbound Maple road traffic flow every morning at rush hour. I have counted as many as 20-25 cars waiting for this light to change so that eastbound traffic flow can resume. In the meantime these cars are sitting there burning up fuel like crazy. At the same time no westbound Maple cars are entering this center medium to actually turnaround. This light should be blinking yellow for eastbound flow all the time or physically removed to restore some sanity to this situation.
