Definitely see this on a daily basis riding back home from the ferry.

How can a city propose expansion and development without ensuring proper traffic controls are in place. It’s like they said ya let’s get people to live and commute on alameda point but we don’t need to think about safety or laws out there

There definitely should be flashing warning lights for these crosswalks on Atlantic when pedestrians are crossing. I’ve been nearly hit while crossing when walking my dog twice in the past 3 months!

My dog and I were nearly hit when a driver blew through a stop sign and the crosswalk. I yelled at the driver and was threatened with physical violence. So many drivers ignore the crosswalks and even stop signs in this area. The base has become a dragstrip every weekend with car meetups that get out of hand. This neighborhood will continue to be the wild west until the city starts enforcing traffic laws here and all of the beautiful new developement will be overahaddowed by the safety concerns.
