The information you have provided in this post will be given to the city’s Code Enforcement Division, which is part of the Police Department, to see if any violations of existing city code are currently present.
Visit the city’s Web site http://www.ci.rio-rancho.nm.us, click on the municipal code link, and search for chapter 156 to see existing city sign regulations including those pertaining to temporary signs.
Please be advised that additional modifications to the city’s existing Sign Ordinance will be considered by the Rio Rancho Governing Body at their regular meeting tonight (Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012) at 6 p.m. at Rio Rancho City Hall.
