Noted some of the area here was trimmed. There remains a need to maintain the entire Catalina Circle HOA area. What has been done is appreciated not close to the level reflecting our extra LMD payments for.

Not to confuse things but the wetlands area of Meadows is looking shabby also.

More weeds than plants, broken irrigation, wasted water ? Who is supervising this maintenance? Inquiring minds, who pay taxes would like to know.

I agree the area (Catalina Way, Meadows Drive open space, and the Mini Drive medium) needs to be cleaned up, trimmed, and maintained more frequently to ensure that sidewalks are free of over grown bushes and the area doesn't become shabby looking.

And yes, Sandpiper Point Residents pay an annual assessment via property tax for maintaining the Sandpiper Point LMD area. That annual fee of about $142 has remained unchanged, i.e., never adjusted to reflect current market, since 1981. The level of services (maintenance) and the timeliness of these services have declined over the years and might get worse.

Also, the Cabana Isle HOA fees and the areas it covers should not be co-mingled with the areas covered under the Sandpiper Point LMD assessment.

The City of Vallejo just released the 2022-2023 LMD Summary and Reports, which are available via City Council Regular Meeting, June 28, 2022: Adoption of...Landscape Maintenance Services, Regions 1 & 8. I encourage all to read it.
