It's bad that people leave trash in places like this. It's even worse that somebody at PWD lies about having "addressed this issue," since things remain exactly as in the photograph above. Does having "addressed this issue" simply mean they have noted it's at 3901 Broadway?

So, PWD decided to pass the buck to the fantasy agency known as "Code Enforcement." It's simply too complex for them to pick up a few cardboard boxes and sweep the alcove clean.

It's getting even worse. Immediately alongside it there's a shopping cart full of trash.

If you want Mom to clean your clothes, PWD, you have bring them to her, and not just leave them in the doorway! You also needs to paint the walls back to their original colour, and sweep up the droppings from your pet pigeons. A power wash would be nice, too.

I have no idea who really "addressed this issue," PWD, but if you want to take credit for it, go ahead. After all, you do take credit for solving many issues that you never even bother to look at.
