  • 1324 Goose Lndg Virginia Beach 23451, United States - Northeast
Entry area into Marshview Park area, public park grounds, completely blocked with branches, leaves, dumped yard debris. Unable to enter woods and park area. Can this area of entry be cleared and cleaned up so residents can safely enter the park and don’t have to go onto private property to enter the public park area? It is a dead end street with no dumping signs and residents have dumped to discourage entry and traffic so people will turn around and not enter a city owned public area. The same situation exists at the entrance to the “city park” area at the end of Brant road, residents who live around the park entry have dumped yard debris to make it difficult to enter park with mounds of yard debris and large branches. This is a neighborhood park area, it is not anyones private property or yard. They have no right to obstruct entryways into a city Park because they don’t want people walking in there, please have entry areas to park cleared of obstructions. Unwelcoming and discouraging entry to a city Park is illegal and dumping is illegal. This is not their personal dump ground or property and cannot discourage area owned by the city and designated as a public wooded park. These entry areas should be cleared totally to allow entry and if they are not cleared someone will hurt themselves on city property trying to enter a city park. The people who live around these areas need to be notified of dumping laws and that this is NOT THEIR PERSONAL, PRIVATE PROPERTY.
