This light is on a timed schedule which automatically gives a protected green arrow for cars turning left onto Silverbrook Ln from westbound Virginia Beach Blvd. There is never anyone waiting to turn at that hour of the morning, so the green arrow should not come on. This problem causes unnecessary delays for drivers on eastbound Virginia Beach Blvd

    At 26th Street and Mediterranean Ave (601 26th St), vines have grown all over the poles and wires almost crossing the whole street. They need to be removed from the wires and cut back a lot in that water area to improve drainage and decrease bugs, rats, etc.

    There is a large bush on the right hand side of Elbow (perhaps encasing an electricity box?) which is blocking the view of drivers exiting Meadow Crest way onto Elbow Road. It is on Elbow heading SW from the entrance of Bellwood Meadows neighborhood. The bush is so large it obstructs the view to oncoming cars coming from the NE toward Elbow and Salem Road.

    Called about 10 days ago and reported this. Also called a year ago. No action has ever been taken to remove this obstruction and no one has ever contacted me with any follow up. Someone is going to get hurt because the view is totally blocked around this curve near 1308 Holly Point Rd. 23454 and many people including kids ride bikes on this normally quiet street. Because it is quiet they don't expect a vehicle to come around this curve and neither does the drive anticipate a biker. The Dominion Power crews are currently laying cable and told me without me asking that they had to put in "flagmen" because of these curves for fear of workman getting hit becasue they aren't visible until a vehicle is right up to them.
