Put more garbage bins up and down Dixwell Ave, especially south of the highway exit 60. The town was clean when Mayor Henrici was here. Since Scott Jackson downhill ever since.. Store,shop and homeowners should be responsible for cleaning up litter in front of there stores and houses to the curb. Has the town heard of street sweepers?? Garbage and unchut grass everywhere... Raise the standard of Hamden. -

It's not properly sorted and put out in the recycling and trash bins. This address has ongoing issues like this and also has two abandoned vehicles in their back driveway that I reported to QVHD back in May 2022. QVHD told me they were going to ask for help from the Town. -

315 Lane Street Hamden, Connecticut - HamdenThere is so much trash in the leaves and bushes along the fence by the creek on the Dunbar Hill Elementary grounds! All the trash will eventually find its way in the creek. A thorough cleanup is necessary followed by posting signs warning against littering. The same should apply on Benham street in the same area. Thank you for looking into this urgent issue. -

It is full to the rim and we make sure we put it out thursday nights. It seems as though it is just not being picked up. Is there anyway we can have recycling pick it up. There is no reason why they are not picking up our recycling and now we have no clue where to put our recycled items.

This has been going on for over a year and not only looks bad because garbage is constantly overflowing but also attracts wildlife /rodents.

786 Pine Rock Ave Hamden, Connecticut, 06514 - HamdenOverflowing Trash and Recycling cans left at curb 24 hiurs a day 7 days a week . This has been an issue for over a year and nothing is done. Homeowner refuses to comply with Town regulations.
o Refuse must be put into the town supplied green trash totes, preferably in plastic trash bags, no trash can be left outside the container, it cannot be overfilled and cannot weigh over 100 pounds when full.
o Refuse must be at curb by 6 a.m. of pickup day. Do not place refuse at the curb more than 24 hours prior to collection. Remove empty trash barrels within 24 hours after collection.It is not fair to the residents of this neighborhood ..this attracts wildlife and is a major eyesore. When will the town do something?
