Recycling & Solid Waste PLUS

Hi, It is Saturday morning and the trash truck has been in the area and I have trash out for big pickup for 7 days and it has not been picked up Rich Leonardo

Today was the regular recycling trash pick-up day for my street. Unfortunately, the team doing the recycling trash pick-up skipped at least five houses on the south and on the north sides of Blake Road between Morris and Wilkins Streets and mine was one of them. My blue bin remains full and so do the blue bins of neighbors of mine to the east and west and across the street. This was also the day for regular trash pick-up from the green bins: all of those on Blake Road were emptied, including mine. My neighbors and I would appreciate your picking up the recycling trash from my blue bin and from those of the neighbors as soon as convenient. Thank you.

There is a massive amount of Trash/leaves in front of the old Putnam Auto lot where the town confiscated under eminent domain, this area needs to be cleaned up on a regular basis as it is disgusting, directly across the street is filthy also. the last time anyone cleaned they barely picked up any of the trash. Also, on Treadwell across from the industrial park against the fence where the lake is has so much trash it is hideous. these are both hamden town property and need to be cleaned up. I have cleaned up putnam ave alone for the last several years and there is a bag and other debris on the side of the road that needs to be picked up and dumped. I have notified the mayor with NO response. It is time to get this town cleaned up with all the taxes we pay no citizen should have to clean up the town, especially since you are raising taxes yet again.

The homeowner leaves garbage cans at the curb 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Its not fair to the other residents in this area to have this eyesore making the neighborhood look trashy. I believe that there is a town ordinance requiring residents to bring garbage and recycling cans back on there property after collection day.
