With the amount of vehicular traffic on Wethersfield Avenue it is virtually impossible to cross on foot. There is senior housing on that corner with many of these senior women who do not drive, use various assistive devices and have to depend on the bus. Due to their difficulty with mobility, it is impossible for them to get accross the street. It is imperative that this light be in working order to help them stay safe.
