Other Private Property IssuesAnerkannt795 Bishopsgate Ln Virginia Beach, VA, 23452, USA - North CentralI tried to attach a photo but my browser kept closing your website. I have photos and can provide.
The basic problem is a sinkhole in my front yard directly above the City's buried drain pipe that carries rain water from Bishopsgate Lane. This is a recurring problem. A similar sinkhole was reported to the City in late 2014 by my neighbor at 799 Bishopsgate Lane. The sinkhole was very close to the property line between me and the neighbor. Public Works Storm Water Maintenance fixed it in April 2015. The lawn was dug up and repairs made to the drainage pipe. Also made major repairs to the storm water sewer opening on Bishopsgate Lane.
This new sinkhole is very near the earlier sinkhole. It is directly over the drainage pipe. The earlier sinkhole was determined to be due to a break in the pipeline which allowed the soil in the lawn to gradually escape. I suspect it is happening again. -
Other Private Property IssuesAnerkannt4013 Fallsway Ct Virginia Beach VA 23456, United States - Virginia Beach citySink holes appearing in front yard. I tried to mark them with sticks in the picture but still tough to see. Our cul de sac recently had a large sink hole in the road that was repaired. These two have expanded in size within the last few months.

Other Private Property IssuesAnerkannt1740 Princess Anne Rd Virginia Beach, VA, 23456, USA - Virginia Beach cityDrainage issues with ditch along the side of the property. It travels under the roadway and is stopped up with debris and vegetation. It's the ditch between the property at 1740 and the farm field next to it. Was cleaned out by the city in the past and it made a HUGE difference with flooding and standing water (also mosquitoes).

Other Private Property IssuesAnerkannt2228 Poplar Point Rd Virginia Beach, VA, 23454, USA - NortheastIssues with the drainage on either side of driveway. When it rains the water does not drain through the culvert like intended from the ditches. The water is stagnant for days until it eventually evaporates. I am concerned that the culvert is not working properly or that there is an issue with the ditch. I don't want this to be a breeding ground for mosquitos or other critters/animals once the weather gets nicer. If possible, could someone come evaluate the situation and see if there needs to be any work done to the culvert or ditch? Thank you for your assistance.

Huntington Dr Virginia Beach, VA, 23462, USA - Virginia Beach cityThe residents of Huntington Dr and Upperville Rd in Virginia Beach desperately need help!! There is a space behind our homes that floods incredibly bad each time it rains! This time it went into our shed where we keep our lawnmower and other equipment. Something needs to be done as far as a drainage system. I have spoken to several neighbors who are in agreement and are equally as frustrated. My email is kendallcanter@gmail.com and my cell phone is 757-372-1830. I look forward to your response. Thanks!
