  • 671 Palisade Ave Union City 07307, United States - The Heights
Based on today’s death but also on general experience please study the safety of pedestrian crossings on this street
  • 38 Congress Street Jersey City, NJ - The Heights
There was a bench that was put in front of the Cliff restaurant? coffee spot. This bench was to be removed by the end of November it is still there. The neighbor's and the constituents want to know who allowed this to take place again taking up valuable parking spots.
  • 380 New York Avenue Jersey City, New Jersey - The Heights
THE FIREHOUSE ON THE CORNER OF PALISSADE/CONGRESS & NEW YORK AVE DESPERATELY NEEDS FOR THE LINES TO BE REPAINTED. CARS ARE CONSTANTLY BLOCK THE DRIVE WAY ACCESS AT THE NEW YORK AVE EMERGENCY EXIT. THE FIREMEN HAVE TO SET OUT CONES WITH UGLY YELLOW CAUTION TAPE TO KEEP IT CLEAR. IT MAKES FOR AN UGLY EYESORE AND IMPEDES THE STREET SWEEPER FROM DOING IT’S JOB CORRECTLY. ABOVE ALL THIS KIS A SERIOUS ISSUE THAT NEEDWS TO BE HANDLED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE... 2 MONTHS OF INACTIVITY ON THE CITIES PART IS... CRIMINAL... YOU RUN RIGHT OUT AND SCRAP UP A DEAD POSSUM WHEN REPORTED ON THIS SITE... BUT... SOMETHING THIS IM;PORTANT IS IGNORED... NOT COOL... NOT COOL AT ALL!
  • 373 New York Avenue Jersey City, New Jersey - The Heights
The Pool in the yard of 373 NEW YORK AVE. 07307 HAS BEEN unused for 5 years and the water is a blackish green and a serious health issue!
  • Congress St & Palisade Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
Something like 30-50 / hr buses try to squeeze through the block of Congress between Paterson Plank and Palisade—plus hundreds of vehicles and pedestrians. The onstreet parking of 20 cars should be banned during the morning rush. It makes difficult for buses to turn and reduces visibility of pedestrians at crosswalks. This would be a minor inconvenience for 20 people easing travel for thousands.
  • Congress St & New York Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
On all four corners of Congress and New York Avenue, the flexible delineators on the corners are wrecked. Some from trucks and people going to the liquor store, others from construction digging. Can you please replace them?
  • Grace St & Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
The white poles got ran over and broke. Needs replacement.
  • 3592 John F. Kennedy Blvd Jersey City, NJ 07307, USA - The Heights

How are the officials allowing such big illegal signs when this is clearly in violation of the code?

This illegal sign is put by business owner Central Auto Glass without permission from property owner and without City permits.

This is a dilapidated sign and presents a hazard to pedestrians and structure it's on.

The sign is an eyesore. Ugly signs reduce City's property value.

Requesting City Officials to take appropriate action on Central Auto Glass for removal of sign.

  • 190 Congress Street Jersey City, New Jersey - The Heights
It has been a minimum of 3 weeks since there has been trash removed from this property.
  • 1140 Summit Avenue Jersey City, New Jersey - The Heights
My neighbors keep playing extremely loud music every weekend (Friday, Saturday and sunday) up to late hours at night, violating the chapter 222 of the code of ordinances of the city.
I've called the local police and they do respond, but it's just a temporary fix. Minutes after police attend the music goes up louder.
This loud music had also brought altercations between the violators and other neighbors, that like me, are fed up of this situation.
I would like to have a permanent solution to this issue, so I'm asking you to please enforce the existing rules in order to end this uncomfortable situation.
The violators address is 1140 summit ave, but the music is played on their backyard which is facing Irving st.
  • 512 Paterson Plank Rd Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights

  • 1185 Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ 07307, USA - The Heights
This very dangerous intersection on Summit Ave at the crossroad of Hague St., Leonard St. and Grace St. has produced numerous accidents already due to no traffic signals/stop signs on Summit Ave. Traffic driving both north and south along Summit Ave cannot see cars driving either east or west from the above mentioned cross streets and vice versa. Each cross street has a stop sign at Summit Ave, but due to cars parking too close to the corner on Summit, it's virtually impossible to see traffic coming from either direction on Summit. Drivers are forced to inch up, often to the point that the front half of their car is in the intersection before they can see both directions of oncoming traffic, not to mention crossing pedestrian traffic. I have witnessed 2 accidents myself in the past few months and come close to getting into an accident myself on a handful of occasions. Please consider installing STOP signs in both directions on Summit Ave for all three cross streets mentioned. As you continue south along Summit St. further into JC Heights, many of the blocks have either STOP Signs or actual traffic lights. Somebody is going to get killed one of these days otherwise.
