    Every week the residents at 2506 place their white trash bags on the sidewalk for pick up. They never use a trash container. The envelopes in the trash bag could be clearly seen through the thin bag with their address on it.

    There is a huge collapse in the sidewalk just next to a large storm drain at the northeast corner of 23rd and I, just across from the Metro station on the opposite side. Someone has wisely put a GWU trashcan in the hole to mark it for pedestrians. It has been this way for months. The hole is 3 feet by 3 feet and is 2 feet deep and is very dangerous.

    Homeless people have set up large tents/residences in the small square across from the Red Cross building.

    (Yes, there are homeless people who sleep in that square, but usually vacate during the day. This has grown into a full blown residence complete with tarps, luggage, and laundry.)

    Very dangerous play ground. Broken fence open to major highway. Wood chip ground cover extremely lower than recommended on park installed play ground equipment. VERY DANGEROUS AREa which is used often during the day by day care centers
