1161-1173 Rucker Rd Alpharetta, GA 30004, USA - Alpharetta
Problem:
There is no side walk from the bridge up until the spring gate subdivision (approximately 700 feet). At this point the side walk begins on the other side of the road.
Due to the lack of sidewalk, there are many adults and children alike are crossing the 700 feet pass by either walking on the road itself or by walking 2-3 inches away from the road. This is incredibly dangerous for the pedestrian as well as the drivers on Rucker St. I along with many drivers have had to swerve at 35mph after seeing a pedestrian precariously crossing this area only a few inches from the road. Pedestrians wanting to simply enjoy a morning or evening walk place themselves in mortal peril by crossing this pass. By creating a break in sidewalk, we have in essence segregated the two communities living on either side and significantly discouraged them from walking towards the other side.Simple Solution:
Connect the existing side walk from before the bridge with the existing sidewalk 200 feet past Harris road. By connecting the two, you will ensure that drivers and pedestrians can coexist safely AND that pedestrians will not have to cross the road after the bridge and jaywalk unnecessarily. -
City Code Violation Archived3385 Kimball Bridge Rd Alpharetta, GA 30022, USA - Alpharetta
We need a "DO NOT PASS ON RIGHT" sign installed at Spruill Circle and Kimball Bridge to keep people from passing on the right when people are stopped to make a left turn off Kimball Bridge and onto Spruill Circle. Drivers often don't slow down at all when illegally passing on the right at this intersection. Thank you.

Mansell Rd Roswell, GA 30076, USA - Alpharetta
Traffic backs up. Two left turn lanes mean that the few cars tuning left clear the sensor in half the time. Need to add a second right turn lane or block he second left turn lane or sensor the eight turn lane so the green lasts longer.

City of Alpharetta Issues ArchivedMeridian Xing - Alpharetta
Poor visibility when exiting Meridian Crossing onto Windward Parkway. To the north (the section between McGinnis Ferry and Meridian Crossing) the trees obscure the view of cars approaching on Windward Parkway. To the South the curve in the road prohibits visibility.

Heading West on Old Milton approaching North Point Prkwy there are a number of large pot holes. These cover both sides of the street and are being hazardous each day when navigating around them during busy traffic.

Re-timing Traffic Light ArchivedWindward Plaza Alpharetta, GA 30005, USA - Alpharetta
I believe traffic would flow better here if this light was re-timed. North and southbound flows get green lights at the same time. With no left turn lanes, traffic becomes a standstill while those turning left yield to each other. This is especially bad at lunchtime during the week and during the afternoon rush when the office parks let out. I suggest allowing only northbound to go, then southbound. The nearby light at Windward and Alderman functions as I describe and traffic flows much better.

Street Sign Repair (signalization) Archived3100-3258 Old Milton Pkwy Alpharetta, GA 30022, USA - Alpharetta
The traffic in the last few days on Old Milton Pkwy (east bound) has gotten progressively worse. Alot of traffic exiting from 400 NB try to cut across 3 lanes of traffic to turn onto Morris Rd. This problem was minimized when the "anti lane change bollards" were installed, but they have been destroyed or removed. This traffic situation gets so bad 400 SB traffic backs up onto 400 from the exit lane. Have you changed the traffic signal timmimg or can you replace the bollards or fill them with concrete? Thanks for your time.
