While driving south bound in the 1900 block of 14th St. NW in the left hand lane a DC Public School bus started to drift out of the right hand lane forcing me to cross the double yellow line into on coming traffic. I honked my horn to alert the driver that he was drifting out of his lane and was forced to slam on my breaks so I could get back into my lane. At no time did the bus driver use any turn signal or hand signal to signify that he was changing lanes and it's obvious that he didn't check his mirror either. Rather than return to his lane the driver honked his horn back at me and raised his hand out of the drivers window as to gesture so what!. When we came to the next stop light while I was writing down the bus information to file a complaint the driver grabbed a piece of paper to write mine down. He then started to yell out of his window at me and told me that I should be more considerate of him since he was driving a school bus. Yes unfortunately I was compelled to yell back and I told him that he should be more careful when he drifts out of his lane especially since he was driving a school bus.
