H8 buses (and everyone else) speed excessively south/westbound on Rock Creek Church Road NW, particularly between Allison St NE and Quincy St NW.

The speed limit on this neighborhood street is 25 mph, yet buses routinely careen down the hill much faster (often right past an idling MPD vehicle at Randolph and Rock Creek Church Road NW). The street is downhill and proceeds for several blocks without a stop sign or traffic light which exacerbates the problem.

Rock Creek Church Road is a neighborhood street frequented by children, runners, dog walkers, etc., not a highway like North Capitol. Buses in particular (and the rest of the traffic) must slow down, observe the speed limit laws, and respect the community.

I hope someone will take a serious look at the situation.
