I was walking through the covered passage under the Metra tracks, at the Davis Street stop, near the entrance to Chef's Station restaurant earlier this evening. I saw a couple of commuters running toward me, with frightened looks on their faces, with a very large rat running behind them. Surrounded by pedestrians, the rat dove into one of the round drainage holes at the base of the wall to escape. A few rat bait traps should probably be set in the area soon.
