This is an ongoing problem. Two years ago the city regraded the asphalt in front of the large Maple tree NW of my property so that the water could flow to the drain. It didn’t work. This pond will be here for months unless this gets fixed John Wickson

We have 3 city maple trees that are showing signs of trouble. 2 are in front of my house at 16750 5th Ave NE and one is directly across from my house

This has been an ongoing problem. The tree in upper right hand corner continues to bow the street so the water backs ups and makes a large pond. It should flow north to the drain. I park in front of my house where the pond is and get my feet wet everyday. Just a small amount of rain will cause the pond to form. I am sorry to keep complaining but this problem will not go away. Thank you for your consideration John Wickson

Hello again. Sorry to bring up another issue, but this is a problem that was fixed when once before when 5th ave. was repaved a few years ago. The water ponds in front of the whole length of our property and the next two houses south of us.The maple in the photo, from what I was told by the city in the past
is what is causing the trouble. This happens with even a small amount
Of rain .We would appreciate it if someone from the city could come out and have a look. Thank you, John Wickson

The recycle truck this morning tore off the branch from the maple directly in front of our house. The driver said they would take of the branch. Should the tree have a clean cut where the branch came off to prevent more tree damage ?
