    We need another bollard to the left of the ones beside the House Creek trail where it meets Blue Ridge Road as seen in this photo (taken looking northeast from the trail to Blue Ridge Road). If you enlarge the picture, you can see tire tracks from where trucks are driving onto the trail between the left bollard and the creek.

    Just today, I noticed they have started driving around the bollards at the other end of that trail section where it meets Glen Eden Drive.

    The white line marking the edge of Blue Ridge Road has been scraped off over the years by snow plows. (See photo.) Drivers heading north on Blue Ridge coming out of the curve behind the truck in the photos can't see the edge of the road at night or when it's raining. We live across the street from this location. We hear cars miss the roadway 2-3 times a week, and I'm not exaggerating. If you enlarge the photo, you can see various pieces of car debris by the ditch and numerous tire marks leading into the ditch.
    Without the white line on the edge of the road, drivers can't see the road curve to the left. They go straight and end up in the ditch in front of Marshall Park Apartments.

    I know the road is due for widening, but that won't happen for several years. In the meantime, if you don't paint the side of the road, we will have many more accidents, and someone could be killed.

    This sign appears to have suffered multiple gunshots and is broken on both sides. Maybe metal would be a better material for replacement.

    I live across the street from the Hillcrest Rehab Center on Blue Ridge Rd. A very noisy garbage truck complete with backup horn and large metal dumpsters emptied the dumpsters at 5:12 AM today. I thought the noise ordinance prohibited such operations before 7 AM.

    I received a phone call over a month ago from a nice young engineer saying that a temporary fix would be performed in the next couple of weeks. This broken section of sidewalk has still not been addressed. This is my third request.

    There were two garbage cans at this picnic shelter on the House Creek Greenway at Glen Eden Pot Park. Now there are none so there is no where nearby to deposit trash. Please bring them back!

    I know this doesn't look like a dangerous break in the sidewalk, but it is. My husband tripped and fell here several weeks ago and suffered multiple scrapes and bruises. I sent in a request at the time of his accident, but it still has not been fixed.

    The bad section of sidewalk is located right beside the driveway entrance to 1522 Glen Eden Dr, Raleigh, Please get it repaired. Thank you! Belle Long 919-215-1762
