Westbound traffic on M St. NW (approaching Conn. Ave. NW) often fails to stop on red for pedestrians. Drivers are confused by the traffic signal meant for cars on RI Ave NW. Better signage needed to alert M St drivers to their light location and pedestrian crosswalk. Drivers frequently run the light and are aggressive toward pedestrians because they don't realize which light pertains to them.
