    Another week another missed recycling pickup along this stretch of Banks St. Is anyone communicating with the new contractor to get this fixed without our having to report every single week? This has long passed the point of being absurd.

    This is the fourth week in a row our recycling was missed. That’s every week since the new contractor. We report every week and it’s not getting corrected. This has moved from annoying to absurd. We should not have to file a report every week to get our recycling collected. It’s clear they are not being told to come down our strip of Banks (between Flagg and Peabody Terrace). Please make sure that is fixed. Thanks.

    This is the third week in a row our collection was missed. The new contractor clearly has not gotten the message that our part of Banks St (between Flagg and Peabody Terrace) needs to be collected. My neighbors all have had the same problem.

    For the second time in a month Eversource has put up parking ban signs on Banks with NO ADVANCED WARNING. These signs were not up last night. Clearly the work is not an emegencgy. Now they are having cars towed where the owners had no reasonable warning. That’s outrageous. Parking bans should be posted with reasonable notice. Last time they did it they tried to tow my car. Luckily I was home again despite no prior warning.

    We have had no trash pickup since we moved in on Dec. 28. The email alerts say our day is Friday, but the map says Wednesday for our end of Banks. In any event, we and the folks at 140 just moved in and we need to know what day to put out our trash, and to make sure the crew comes down past the corner of Flagg St. Please call to leave a message so I know what day to be ready. (We have tried leaving out both Wednesday and Friday, and pushed one day back on holiday weeks--but nobody came any of those days.)

    We have been here since December 28 and no trash or recycling pickup has occurred. We have left out for Wednesday pickup as the map on the Works website shows for our end of Banks St (at Flagg) and Friday too as the city email alerts give us that date (which I think is wrong--that's for Banks on the other side of Peabody terrace). In any event three weeks and no pickup leaving out for both possible days and also pushing back one day for holidays. At this point trash and recycling overflowing. Please call to confirm which day we should leave out. Please also ensure they know we are down here at 138 Banks. Our new neighbors too at 140--both new buildings on the lot that was previously just 136.
