    Construction noise, including jackhammering that vibrates the walls in my building next door, occurs 6 days a week. On Sat, March 24 for example work started around 7:45 am and ended around 8 pm. The noxious odor was apparent today. Front windows replaced last weekend which may not be compliant with historic district rules re wooden windows.

    One large full garbage bag was left on the ground next to the trash bins in our alley at 2032 16th St NW. This is a recurring problem. It appears to be primarily food trash and attracts rats. We have had to pay to have the trash cleaned up on 2 prior occasions this summer.
