    Sheppard St. (Alley) Richmond Virginia - Scott's Addition

    This is a constant and recurring problem on this little alley behind Boulevard Burger & Brew and in front of Ironclad Coffee Roasters (which is our business). The front of our building is constantly being sprayed with muddy water from the potholes in this alley. We cannot keep our storefront clean, and this is not good for business!

    With all the new businesses in this immediate area -- including our coffee roastery and all the new restaurants in very close proximity -- this is a fairly heavily traveled little alley. Upwards of a dozen large trucks use this alley for deliveries every single day. Therefore, this alley ought to be maintained.

    The overgrowth of this lot and the sidewalk in front of it is extremely bad. Needs to be trimmed down and tidied up. A complete eyesore for what has become a nice part of town.

    HUGE pothole is now spanning nearly the entire road / alleyway behind Boulevard Burger & Brew right in front of Ironclad Coffee Roasters. What used to be a pothole is now -- well, I don't know what to call it (the photo doesn't do it justice). It now spans nearly the entire width of the road, so it's 100% unavoidable for any vehicle passing by. It rivals any nearby pond during and after rainstorms. We also have a half-ton of loose gravel sitting beside the chasm from the attempt a few months ago to address the problem in that fashion. It lasted all of four days. The entire little road that cuts between Moore Street and Altamont needs a re-pave, but this huge hole is the worst of it. Lots of vehicles and big trucks are now using this little road every single day, so it's affecting many people on a daily basis.
