On Sunday as I was picking up trash in the open space between our home and the Elementary school, I notice a homeless encampment just off the trail that follows Glen Cove Prkwy and leads to the school. There is a large pile of trash and a enclosure of tarps. It looks like one or two people may be living there.
The location is slightly above where the trail makes a S turn before heading towards the school. You can see the trail leading up the hill as trail straightens.
