Not sure what happened, but the yield / street sign on the south-east corner of Seaway and Glenburne is laying on the ground here.

The traffic light at the corner of Kalamazoo and S Washington Square once had a turn arrow, a few years back. It seems that this light was never re-programmed following the removal of the arrow. This causes confusion for cars on on Kalamazoo when one direction has a red light, those turning left on the side with the green light will wait patently for the cars on the red light side clear, not knowing that they are waiting for a red light.

This light is also mildly confusing for pedestrians as, during the cycle that causes confusion for the cars on Kalamazoo, no direction is allowed to cross the street. My observations have shone that the majority of people just cross against the light, without waiting for the walk cycle that here comes every third cycle (N-S, E-W, Off).

From time to time, for a couple years now, the southwest corner of Kalamazoo and S. Washington will reek of a foul odor. Last week was one of those times. Though others have tried to blame the smell on the Thai restaurant near by, the smell is clearly raw sewage from the drains. Today, when I saw that the sidewalk was painted in preparation of some work in this area, I was reminded of the possibility of posting this problem to SeeClickFix. If not for this problem, maybe someone might want to take a look, while they are already working in this area.

I think someone might have mixed up the paint cans, when striping the road in this area. The temporary construction line has out lasted the permanent lines. Which has made the striping on Mt Hope, west of Cole Academy, very confusing. It is not uncommon to see cars wandering aimlessly in this area, only to settle into the old format, two west bound and one left turn lane, when stopping at the Pleasant Grove light.
