There has been a water leak coming from the ground on City Line Northbound , right lane in front of Ross dress for less store for at least 5 years. This has caused, over the years, numerous potholes, heaved and broken sidewalk and curb, icy spots in winter, many tire blowouts and lost hubcaps and accidents just to name a few. Sometimes the right lane gets so bad it is impassible.
Right now there are at least 20 patched potholes. They will keep patching potholes but won't address the real issue and stop the water leak.

This has been happening for at least 30 years. The underlying issue is not a water leak rather water draining along the road from storms, runoff from the adjacent golf course and the City Ave Shopping Center. I agree that the multiple causes of this dangerous issue has never been addressed so that these potholes don't return. It's a PENNDOT issue. RT 1 is a state road and therefore PENNDOT's responsibility. It is also on the Philadelphia side of Rt 1 and located in the City.

Perhaps it's not a water leak and a sewer leak instead? In either case contact your water company/municipality. They have the right to turn off water for either condition even if it is on private property.

Also, that is in the city of Philadelphia NOT Penn Wynne..There is no 7700 block of City (Line) Avenue in Penn Wynne.

Pendot showed up this week to patch the road again.
But the water leak is going strong. They will never address the cause of the problem.
I bet latest patch will break up by July 4th guaranteed!!!
Just bad money after money and Governor Corbit
wonders why were in a deficit?
Repair the problems instead of temporary fixes!!!!

You need to contact the Philadelphia Water Department at 215-685-6300 and make your complaint.

They fixed about 2 years ago. After a camaro drove through and blew out all 4 tires. Its fixed good job!
