This has been an issue for years now. Seems like the city would repair it because they caused it when they dug up the street

Hmm, many senior citizen live at the 920 W. Wilson Ave address and it is a problem for us, especially if you are in a wheelchair, walker or crutches/canes!

My disabled son cannot be lifted over this lake. Please help us by fixing this. Thank you.

This has been an ongoing problem for a couple of years. School buses, senior citizens, wheelchairs all are impeded due to the standing water even during moderate rain. Attention to this hazard would be appreciated. The entire block from Sheridan to Hazel in impacted.

Yesterday I saw a senior citizen in a walker walking in the street next to parked cars to cross the street due to this water. It is dangerous for drivers to get out of their cars when it freezes. It has been this way for years. Please fix this hazard.

Ron, I am looking at the drain - and it is untouched... with a nice layer of ice putting a seal on it since yesterday... nobody has touched this drain - and you can't fix it today anyways - because it's too frozen!!!!!

My friend took it upon himself to get a pump and pump the water to the other side of the street on Saturday... that's why it looks fixed... but the next bigger storm will have this side of the street flooded again. Currently the ice that's left still blocks the wheelchair ramp.

I parked on the north side of the street and my tire was in several inches of water. The water froze yesterday around the tire and it was difficult for me to get my car out! This issue is DEFINITELY NOT RESOLVED!!

I respect the Water and Sanitation Department to come out in this weather...! Where they able to do anything...? When I walked past the drain in question - I found some tools laying around... the crew were back in their truck to take a break from the freezing temperatures...

Also - why did the city close the issue on this website? Later today they sent out work crews to fix the problem...
