PPG is a publicly traded company whose defined purpose is to "protect and beautify the world." PPG can afford to move this manufacturing process offsite.
It is not right for East Point residents to suffer health problems, such as difficulty breathing, watery eyes, a burning throat and an uncontrollable cough, so that this company can make exorbitant profits.
East Point leaders, please:
1) Demand this manufacturing process be moved offsite;
2) Update residents on PPG's mitigation plan to reduce odors; and
3) Engage the US EPA to put an end to these ongoing industrial chemicals in our neighborhood's air.
