There used to be a 4 Way stop sign on Forest Pines Dr and Common Oaks Drive. A few years ago the City remove the stop signs that were on the Forest Pine Drive road. More than once I have seen a car fly thru the stop sign on Common Oaks and just miss a car that was driving down Forest Pines Drive. My wife just told me she just missed being broadsided by a car that went thru the stop sign on Common Oaks. My wife also told me that she has seen a few accidents at this intersection since they change it from a four way stop intersection.
Forest Pines Drive has elementary schools on it. I would like to see the stop sign put back on Forest Pine Drive to make it “once again” a 4 Way stop intersection. I honestly believe that this will save someone’s life. Sooner or later someone will be killed if this intersection remains like it is now. Thank you for your consideration.
