Hello, can you please clarify the location? Is this within the canyon or on the roadway behind Target off 100th Pl SE?

This is all along 100th Pl SE behind the East Hill Plaza (Target, Old Navy, old Top Foods) from 104th Ave SE to 97th PL SE/SE 260th St. Many homeless are moving into this area and bringing lots of trash, furniture and shopping carts. Along with overgrowth in vegetation, this area is looking really bad.

We have the trash along 100th on schedule for removal this week. The area within the canyon is Parks Department property and once we have completed our portion I will forward this to them so they can complete the remaining area within the canyon.

Solid Waste staff responded and removed the trash along the roadway. I am transfering this to Parks to complete the issue with the canyon.

The city Mayor’s officials were notified multiple times over this past year of this problem and have done nothing to fix this. The debris isn’t in an isolated area it stretches for blocks. It further communicates to the residents that it is acceptable behavior to live this this and leave this mess. This pin should noted as active as debris is significant.
