Beschreibung
Many people walk along Grand Ave in order to access the beautiful park along Grand Marina. However, this session of the Grand Ave, between Clement Ave and Formann Way, is really not that friendly to pedestrian. It's very bumpy (especially not easy for strollers and bikes) and also there is no side walk.

Dear An Anonymous,
Thank you for taking the time to send in a seeclickfix regarding the area on Grand St. between Clement Ave. and Fortmann Way. There currently is a sidewalk for pedestrians on the East side of the street next to Alameda Municipal Power that goes from Clement to just past Fortmann Way, on Grand St. However, I will send the pothole crew over to the area on the West side of the street and ask them to fill in where they can to offset the bumpy areas.
Thank you again for taking the time, should you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the City of Alameda Public Works Department at (510) 747-7930.
Sincerely,
Public Works Supervisor
City of Alameda

Dear Public Works Supervisor,
Thanks for sending the pothole crew over and addressing the issue! I should have been more specific, our concern is more on the session on Grand Ave. between Clement Ave and Pacific Ave. which does not have sidewalk on either East or West side of the street. If one wants to walk from Pacific Ave to Fortmann Way, there is no sidewalk besides the bumpy bike lane filled with stones and railway tracks...
Pothole filling will certainly help for this situation but will not completely resolve the issue.
Thanks,
Fei Ouyang
