Pedestrians crossing Worth St or walking along the north side of that street after dark have great risk of being hit by any moving vehicle because city street lighting is very poor. A vacant house on Worth Street adjacent to the new rec center presents an attractive nuisance to the many children in that neighborhood. This house, with it's overgrown yard and unlocked low fence, is a potential home to vagrants and cover for potential criminal activity. The city must correct these potential hazards in order to be true to it's stated mission of offering a safe place for Saratoga's children and adults to congregate and participate in healthy activity.
