Beschreibung
The sidewalk alongside 100 W Leigh St, behind the Bojangles statue on the residential side of the street, is completely overgrown with grass and weeds so that you can no longer even see the bricks through the weeds. There are handicapped people living here and this is very unsafe for them with their walkers and canes.
The actual sidewalk affected is Price Street where it adjoins W Leigh Street. Please send someone to remove the weeds and reseat the brick as necessary.

1/3/2014 - Service Review: Richmond Sidewalk Mgmt Team (20020916977 & 20020916979) noted that as of 9/11/2013 that it is the adjacent property owner's responsibility to remove all vegetation and debris from the sidewalk area. Request will be closed. Sidewalk looks to be in good condition.

1/7/2014 - Thanks for communication with Richmond City government online. Respectfully, the adjoining property owner(s) must remove the sod/grass themselves or spray vegetation killer on the sidewalk grass/sod to make it go away. Richmond Code Enforcement can write a citation to enforce the adjoining property owner to maintain the sidewalk sod/grass only after it reaches a certain height or width - rtt

1/7/2014 - There is nothing more that can be done here until the sod/grass reaches code violation proportions. The adjoining property owners will need to handle this matter until that time.
