Gantzel needs to be restriped so that it is safer, so that it frees Pinal from liability from certain accidents. With the HS and Banner and the businesses open, there is significant traffic on Gantzel, forced to travel north and south on a road that was striped completely incorrectly.
What was that stripe designer thinking?

HWAET,
Thank you for submitting your concern in regards to the Gantzel Rd and Bella Vista Rd intersection. The reason it is striped as such is because Gantzel is not improved south of Bella Vista. Once improvement occurs, then the striping will be altered to fit a typical intersection, however, for now the layout is necessary to accomodate the intersection as it currently exists.

With due respect, that makes no sense to anyone who drives on Gantzel everyday.
And who knows when you will ever improve the unpaved south portion?. If your funds are so depleted, probably not for 20 years. If Hunt Highway is a guide as to how Pinal addresses dangerous and poor roads, perhaps never.
To sum up: the existing highway striping is dangerous, does not benefit users in any way. To use the excuse of south Gantzel as unimproved is stretching the point. It makes no logical sense. In fact, once again with due respect, your office should sit down amongst themselves and some independent voices to fix this easily modified striping. It will go too long otherwise.
And you are leaving Pinal County open to certain lawsuits from accident victims since you have been put on notice. Thanks for your consideration and reply.

Please send your comments to this office. They are in charge of striping. Note the good job that they did at the corner of Hunt Highway and Golf to eliminate the right turn lane that was difficult and inconvenient and a bit dangerous for years. It took them a couple of days.
Gantzel and Bella Vista restripe would take not too long and not cost too much. They have the team already employed. Maybe they just cannot buy the paint?
