When traveling eastbound, there is a "no turn on red" sign very visible, if people would adhere to that, they wouldn't have a problem, because when the light turns green, they can make their turn with no problem. I travel this every day and people don't observe the sign and try to make a right hand turn on to Romeo Plank when light is red. Not a whole lot of thinking here, folks.

There is a traffic light there. Use YOUR turn signal and don't be in so much of a hurry.

Making comments has not made a differnce in this major intersection problem... What will it take to make the change to a simple green arrow to allow cars to make left turns?

The blind spot is turning South onto Romeo Plank from the East side of 22. It is difficult to see oncoming Eastbound traffic at the intersection.

Thank you Steve. That is exactly it! If you drive West bound towards Romeo Plank on 22 mile and make that left at the turn lane heading south onto Romeo Plank, it is difficult to see oncoming traffic when there are vehicles in the turn lane from east bound traffic. It is literally a guessing game and hoping not to get hit by traffic. I see a lot of people cross the double lines and into the SE plaza and cut through to avoid getting into accidents. (in fact - thats what i do!)

speaking of which - it was more important to install a turn signal at heydenreich? that is a total waste when it was needed more at this major intersection.

Too bad the two business owners on the Northwest and Southeast corners wont sell off their property and move somewhere else. The building are so close to the road that the intersection can't even be modernized. Both buildings are eye sores anyway.

There was another accident on Thursday evening. You cannot turn south onto Romeo Plank without taking a chance. There is a terrible blind spot. Something needs to be fixed.

I agree, the intersection at 22 mile rd. and Romeo Plank is VERY DANGEROUS!!!! There have been numerous accidents. They must put in a left turn signal for people wanting to make a left turn onto Romeo Plank from 22 mile Rd. I don't understand what they are waiting for. R they waiting for more serious accidents to occur b4 they decide to do something??? I don't see anyone in the brown building (junky building) why can't they knock it down and widen the lanes to make it safer for vehicles!!!!?????? The safety of the buses making a right turn onto 22 mile rd. from Romeo Plank is also an issue. The safety of our children is a concern.

2 people died at 23/romeo plank and that one has a traffic light... if they dont want to install a traffic light at 22/romeo plank then what needs to happen is that the lane on 22 mile road immediately in front of the 7-11 needs to be straightened out - thats what causes the blind spot. it comes in at an angle and it is difficult to tell if traffic is oncoming until they make the slight bend.

I am so tired of accidents at this intersection. What can we do about the lawn mower so called business getting out of there?

Rumor has it that the owner of the lawn mower repair shop at 22 mile and romeo plank has passed away. The place is supposedly tied up in Probate!

Just for the record; the owner is not passed away.

Well what can we do this place could not possibly pass inspection as a business.

The property is about to be condemed finaly as it is in the way of the planned widening of Romeo plank.

There is a sign in the door Danger not to be used after Feb something and activity of utility trucks have been there quite a bit. Hope maybe?!

I relocated to California. I understand from my family there was a large accident at the intersection... Shortly thereafter, the stoplight was put in.. Too bad. Its about time. Unbelievable and ridiculous it took that much time. You should be ashamed.
