Well the city is dragging its feet again and the camps, filth, garbage and a total look of disgust when you drive by the old K-Mart parking lot. The camps are starting to compound and will eventually look like it did months ago. Once again the process to get rid of this bight will take months to resolve. Why isnt this landlord being held accountable for their property? They where contacted before to clean it up, shouldnt the second or third time around be easier?

Thanks for reporting this issue! Code Enforcement Officer Sidie has an active case on the property, case reference #CE19-1009; the case is currently at the Second Administrative Citation level of enforcement and is scheduled to be re-inspected on October 4th. Since this is private property, due process is involved in ensuring that the property owner and all interested parties achieve compliance. Should all notices/citations be ignored, the city would look into obtaining a warrant to abate the issues on this (and/or any) private property.
