if anyone with half a brain knows the city streets, we wouldn't need all this dumbing down by arrows and stop signs. just more beaurocracy, more maintenance, more reasons for lawsuits.

Agree... there is a right lane. We don't need to add more delay to the intersection with a turn arrow. Are you one of those people who always needs to drive in the left lane for no reason? Stay right unless there is a reason to move left. That is how you are supposed to drive.

The person who complained probably thought he/she would be able to keep ahead of drivers in the right lane that were driving slower (speed limit on Union Ave is 30 mph !!) then found out that a lot of drivers turn left at that intersection. The same thing happens on Rt. 9 when approaching Crescent Ave near Saratoga Honda. People are in the left lane to go faster than those in the right lane, and then find themselves behind a driver who wants to turn left onto Crescent Ave.
Please think ahead.
