  I live across the street, at 1089 60th street. I endorse all the comments and include a screaming yelling session last night practically under my window, disturbing my going to sleep. Also the range of trash is reaching our homes with significant amounts. The sidewalk is completely blocked of course.
  Moreover I needed to negotiate a now one lane 60th street to get to San Pablo on Monday due to multiple stopped but occupied cars narrowing 60th street. I needed to wait for oncoming traffic to then get out of my lane to finally reach San Pablo. Why does anyone have a right to do this?

  For whoever reads this, the multiple issues documented on this block are all from the same person and could all be resolved if somebody dumps his trash.

  Today was worse.
  The road was almost completely blocked because it has turned into a garage. And an illegal road sign was placed on the street which said “no parking” in the area in front of Winston! Multiple cars in a line now make the road sometimes essentially unpassable.
  Other areas on the side of the road are occupied by people sleeping or smoking.
  The trash now fills the gutters on both sides of the road. I am sweeping on my own and picking up, but cannot keep up.
  I am happy to pay for more taxes and i vote for affordable housing and more shelters. Why do I and neighbors need to suffer our neighborhood becoming a literal toilet?

  Before this was "just" an ever shifting collection of bikes, tents, mattresses, and junk. The last few days it has become a 24 hour bad party, drive-through market, and roadblock. There are not one but two reddish vans permanently parked on the north side of the street, with a junk motorcycle between them, and a stream of cars and vans pulling up alongside the collection.

  I concur with everything documented in this series of postings. I live in this block and have witnessed all of this. This absolute lawlessness must stop! Multiple infractions of the law are taking place on a daily basis, and the situation has fast become dangerous for citizens in the neighborhood. I urge everyone to call the police non-emergency line at (510) 777-3333 to continue filing incident reports or 911 if necessary.
  P.S. Let’s not overlook the sanitation issues of these individuals defecating and urinating in our bushes, on our sidewalks, in the gutters, etc. Add “public health risk” to the long litany of offenses.

  Check out the photo above that I just took today from across the street. The debris on the street stretches from the (stolen) bicycles on the left, up to and including the suspect red mini-van and motorcycle on the right. This is taking up the equivalent of about 3 parking spaces on the street. You'll see a carpet, a couple of overflowing trash cans, a gas lawnmower, shopping cart, red mini-van (which appears to be propped up from beneath on some sort of permanent jack) and the motorcycle, also jacked-up. The amount of junk piled up on the sidewalk adjacent to all of this is enormous and includes office chairs, a sofa, mattress, and other pieces of assorted furniture. The size and scope of this blighted monstrosity is absolutely outrageous!

  Look at the 2 photos above I just posted, taken this afternoon. So much junk and debris blocking the street and sidewalk: bicycles, 2 overflowing trash cans, a lawn mower, shopping cart, the suspect mini van that is now jacked-up on blocks and a motorcycle, also jacked-up. Also on the sidewalk, numerous office chairs, a sofa, mattress and other assorted furniture.

  This is just becoming so depressing. Completely blocked sidewalk with so much trash and filth. Feces and urination on our side of the street (follow the flies). Residential neighborhood, 8 single-family tax paying homes right across the street and City of Oakland does NOTHING. So frustrating!

  After feces was dumped into our compost, we called the police. When Officer McDowell came by, Winston moved some of his things into the red van. Two days later, he's moved them back out into the street and dumped some of his items in the median at San Pablo and 60th. The drinking, fighting, noise levels, and trash is the same as before. But now they're actively hostile to the neighbors. Please clear out the items, as this will help deter Winston from living and accumulating trash and scriminal activoity at this spot.

  Green pick-up truck with license # 8X63046 has been picking up the stolen bike parts the past few days.
